Prince Hazzem Visits Mam Rashan Camp and Supports Yezidi Displaced from Syria and Lebanon

The visit of His Highness Prince Hazem Tahsin Beg to the Mam Rashan displacement camp for Yazidis was of great significance, as it involved checking on the conditions of the Yazidi refugees who had recently fled from Syria to Lebanon and then to Kurdistan. This visit was made possible through the direct assistance of President Masoud Barzani, who deserves gratitude for his continuous efforts to support the people of the homeland.

During the visit, His Highness provided financial aid in conjunction with the Yazidi fasting period of their holiday, reflecting his care and attention for this community. He also invited the families to visit the Emirate Palace in Shikhan and the Lalish Temple, showing his desire to strengthen cultural and religious ties with the Yazidi community.

Additionally, His Highness discussed the suffering of the Yazidis in Syria with representatives from the United Nations and relevant authorities, emphasizing the need for action to ensure their rights and improve their humanitarian conditions. This visit reflects the continuous commitment of Kurdish leadership to support the Yazidis and meet their needs in the difficult circumstances they face.
