PM Masrour Barzani Meets Sovereignty Alliance Leader Khamis al-Khanjar On Thursday, Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani welcomed Khamis al-Khanjar, leader of the Sovereignty Alliance in the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
The meeting focused on the overall political developments in Iraq and ongoing preparations for the parliamentary elections scheduled for November.
Both parties emphasized the need to uphold the rights of all communities, maintain Iraq’s federal structure, and protect the constitutional status of the Kurdistan Region. They also highlighted the importance of ensuring the timely allocation of financial dues to the Region’s citizens.
