Vian Dakhil: General Amnesty Covers ISIS Members Who Kidnapped Five Yazidi Women

Vian Dakhil, a member of the Iraqi Parliament, announced: The general amnesty law covers ISIS members who kidnapped five Yazidi women and sold them in the slave markets of Mosul, and they will be pardoned because they did not kill the women, but only sold them.

On the previous Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the Iraqi Parliament, according to its work agenda, voted in its first item on the draft law of personal status proposal No. (188) of 1959 for both Articles (2 and 10). In the second item of the session, voting was conducted on Article (5) of the law on returning properties to their owners. In the third item, a vote was held on the second amendment of the General Amnesty Law No. (27) of 2016.
