Sinjar IDPs (internally displaced people) no longer trust organizations
Sama
In most of the camps in Duhok province, the IDPs (internally displaced people) of Sinjar rely on the charitable organizations and humanitarian organizations that provide assistance to the IDPs.
Compared to previous years, the refugees of Sinjar do not trust the organizations and do not take their work seriously.
Fesal Khanasuri, a civil activist from Sinjar in Bersve IDP camp, told Sama that the aid of charitable and humanitarian organizations for the IDPs in the camp is in short supply, so the IDPS do not rely on organizations as before. They have lost faith in their promises.
The IDPs have come to believe that the promises of the organizations are only on paper and do not serve them properly.
About 300,000 IDPs from Sinjar are still living in camps in Duhok province and Zakho autonomous administration.
