The distribution of the September grant from Prime Minister Masrour Barzani to Yazidi survivors has commenced and will continue for three days.. On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 10 AM, the office of the Prime Minister and the Lalish Center in Duhok began distributing the grant at Lalish Hall One in the Sharia complex. Each survivor will receive 150,000 dinars.
The distribution started in the Sharia complex, followed by Khanke sub-district, then Sheikhan district on Thursday, and will conclude in the Derabun complex on Friday, where Yazidi survivors will collect their grants. Survivors who have left the country will also be eligible for assistance. The Lalish Center has created a link for Yazidi survivors to fill out a form to apply for the financial grant.
By the decision of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, the financial grant initiative for Yazidi survivors of ISIS has been announced. The project aims to assist 3,575 individuals of different genders and ages in its initial phase. The Lalish Culture and Social Center is overseeing the project, with several survivors participating in the management team.
