As we mark International Workers’ Day, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the hardworking individuals in Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the world.
On this occasion, we stand in respect and appreciation for the contributions of Kurdistan’s workers. We highly value their active participation in the region’s ongoing reconstruction and development efforts, and express our pride in their role in laying the foundations of our economic infrastructure.
Over the past years, the Kurdistan Regional Government has continuously given great attention and made considerable efforts to improve workers’ livelihoods and protect their rights. From this standpoint, we once again reaffirm our steadfast commitment to defending the rights of all workers — ensuring their health, occupational safety, and legal entitlements — and we will continue striving to enhance their working conditions and environment.
