The Jema’ye Eid ceremonies concluded yesterday, Sunday, October 13, at the Lalish Temple, taking place in a peaceful atmosphere without any problems.
Luqman Sulaiman, the media officer of Lalish Temple, informed SEMA that this year’s Jema’ye Eid ceremonies were notably different from previous years, featuring improved organization and arrangements. The ceremonies were held over seven days at Lalish Temple without any issues.
He further remarked, “A particularly remarkable aspect of this year’s Jema’ye Eid was the significant number of Yazidis from abroad who visited Lalish, adorned in traditional Yazidi attire to participate in the religious rituals.”
He added, “This year, more than 100,000 Yazidis from around the globe participated in the Jema’ye Eid ceremonies.”
The Jema’ye Eid activities commenced from October 6 to 13, 2024, attended by the Yazidi Emir, Baba Sheikh, the Spiritual Council, and a large crowd at Lalish Temple, and continued for seven days.
