As well as the Interior Minister at the Kurdistan Regional Government, Rebar Ahmad, several other governmental and political parties seniors attend the forum too.

According to Dr. Huner Issa, the Director General of MEPS 2024, that forum is bringing together 124 well-known academics from 40 different countries, and %73 of them, participating for the first time, it also concentrating on variable issues and matters relevant to the Middle East plus some other common related international matters.
Dr. Issa highlighted that MEPS24 has increased and put a remarkable trace both globally and nationally because a variety of national and international trustworthy establishments have joined the forum each time was held.
Last year 2023, the Premier in his historical and remarkable speech, highlighted the most challenging issues experienced by the people in the wider region, as well as stressed solutions to those issues from the roots.

The American University of Kurdistan (AUK), in Duhok, hosts the Middle East Peace and Security Forum (MEPS 2024) on Friday, November 22nd, 2024, it will last for 3 days, i.e. until Sunday, November 24th, 2024.
