His Highness the Prince Hazem Tahseen Said (Prince of the Yazidis in Iraq and the world, and Chairman of the Supreme Yazidi Spiritual Council) met with Mr. Qasim al-Araji (Iraqi National Security Advisor).
During the meeting, His Highness highlighted the situation in Sinjar, stating that it is very sensitive and that all efforts must be united to resolve the issues there.
He emphasized the importance of governmental and international efforts to ensure the return of displaced Yazidis with dignity and honor, and to end the displacement issue.
He also pointed out the necessity of security cooperation to protect the areas of different communities, particularly the security of Sinjar and other Yazidi regions.
Furthermore, His Highness stressed the critical need to focus on the reconstruction and development of Sinjar and the Nineveh Plain, particularly in terms of essential projects and services.
