PM Barzani to meet Turkish President Erdogan in Ankara

According to an official statement from the Turkish Presidency, Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani is scheduled to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday at the Cankaya presidential palace in central Ankara.

The high-level meeting is set to take place at 2:00 PM local time on Tuesday.

Prior to the presidential meeting, Prime Minister Barzani will meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at noon at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The discussions are expected to focus on several key topics, including bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey, developments in Syria and the country’s future, the new phase of peace initiatives, and the potential resolution of the Kurdish question in Turkey.
