At the kind invitation of the Consul General of Italy in Erbil, His Highness Prince Hazim Tahsin Beg, the spiritual leader of the Ezidis in Iraq and around the world, participated in the official celebration marking the National Day of the Italian Republic, held in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
The event was attended by a distinguished gathering of local officials, diplomats, consular representatives, and prominent cultural and social figures. During his attendance, Prince Hazim expressed his appreciation for the strong ties between the Italian Republic and the people of Iraq, especially Italy’s continued support for peace and coexistence.
He also thanked the Italian Consulate for its gracious invitation and its efforts in strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
His Highness’s participation reflects the Ezidi community’s commitment to international dialogue, peaceful coexistence, and active engagement in fostering mutual understanding among diverse communities.
