His Highness Prince Hazem Tahseen Saeed (Prince of the Ezidis in Iraq and the World and President of the Supreme Yazidi Spiritual Council) met with Mr. Fares Issa (Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Baghdad),
in the presence of Dr. Khalaf Sinjari (Advisor to the Prime Minister of Iraq) and Ambassador Brin Saeed Tahseen.
During the meeting, His Highness discussed ways to strengthen peaceful coexistence among the components of the Kurdistan people and the role of the Kurdistan Regional Government in consolidating the values of coexistence and fraternity among Kurdistani citizens.
His Highness also addressed the situation of displaced Ezidis residing in camps in the Kurdistan Region, discussing possible solutions to their problems, ways to alleviate their suffering, and ensure a free and dignified life worthy of their sacrifices.
The meeting also reviewed the Sinjar Agreement signed between the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, in addition to the role of the Representation in following up on this important file.
His Highness emphasized the importance of the Kurdistan Region’s Representation in safeguarding and following up on the rights of all components of the Kurdistani people.
