The Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil, received the head of the Ezidi parliamentary bloc, MP Khalid Saido, MP Basman Samo Nafkhoush, and Nineveh Provincial Council member Muhammad Jasim Al-Kakayi, in the presence of the Deputy Governor for Administrative Affairs, Rifaat Samo Rashu, and the Deputy Governor for Organizations and Displaced Affairs, Ali Omar Kab’oo.
The meeting addressed the general situation in Nineveh, as well as discussing local government plans for the reconstruction of Sinjar district and creating suitable conditions for the return of displaced Ezidi residents to their original areas.
During the meeting, Al-Dakhil emphasized the local government’s commitment to strengthening stability in Sinjar, accelerating reconstruction efforts, and providing basic services, stressing the importance of preserving the social fabric among all components of Nineveh and enhancing unity and cooperation among its people to consolidate security and stability in the governorate.
