Prince Hazim Tahsin Beg, the Ezidi Prince in Iraq and worldwide, met with His Beatitude Patriarch Mar Paul Emil Nona, Patriarch of the Chaldean Church, during the latter’s visit to Duhok Governorate.
The meeting renewed a message of fraternity and peace among the region’s indigenous communities. Both sides stressed the importance of preserving historical landmarks and safeguarding the cultural and social rights of religious communities in the Kurdistan Region, further strengthening the model of peaceful coexistence and historical partnership that has distinguished the region throughout the centuries.
