His Highness Prince Hazim Tahsin Saeed (Prince of the Yazidis in Iraq and the world, and President of the Supreme Yazidi Spiritual Council) met with a number of important Norwegian institutions, including governmental and non-governmental organizations (Parliament, religious organizations, Amnesty International, the Iraqi Embassy).
During these meetings, His Highness the Prince addressed the importance of the Norwegian Parliament’s recognition of the Yazidi genocide in Sinjar.
He emphasized the importance of continued support for the Yazidi community in displacement camps and for those returning to their areas.
He pointed out the necessity of cooperation between all parties to support the Yazidi cause at the European Union level.
