Iraqi women’s national team has recruited several Yezidi girls to participate in the Asian and West Asian championships.
Samir Sabri, the coach of the Iraqi women’s national team, told Sama that the coach of the Iraqi women’s national team will hold three days of tests with the Yazidi girls of all ages in Sinjar Several players were selected after their good performance.
He added that the players will be tested in Baghdad and those who are satisfied with their performance will be asked to join the Iraqi national team to participate in the Asian and West Asian Championships.
Sabri said: These girls are from several mass teams in the villages and communities of Sinjar and the camps.
For the first time in the history of Iraqi football, Yezidi girl players of different ages have been invited to the Iraqi women’s national team.
The talented Yazidi girl teams have participated in several football tournaments at a high level and they hope to play with the Iraqi national team.
