Dr. Khalaf Al-Sinjari, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Ezidi Affairs, announced today, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, that the Prime Minister has approved support for shop owners affected by the fire at Bajid Kandala Camp.
Al-Sinjari stated: “The Prime Minister has approved the request submitted by the Advisory Office for Ezidi Affairs to provide support to the 53 shops that were damaged in the fire at the Bajid Kandala Camp market in Zakho.”
He also noted that “a detailed report on the losses of the shop owners was submitted in coordination with the relevant authorities in the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government.”
