On Saturday, February 1, 2025, Dr. Karwan Mohammed Sabir from the Office of His Excellency Masrour Barzani, and the Lalish Center Delegation Visit Lalish Temple for the Winter Forty Festival. along with Said Jardo, Head of the Lalish center , led a high-level delegation on a visit to Lalish Temple in celebration of the Winter Forty Festival.
During their visit, the delegation participated in the evening ceremonies of the festival and was warmly received by Baba Sheikh of the Yazidis. On this occasion, they extended their congratulations to Baba Sheikh, the celebrants, and the Yazidi community, expressing their best wishes for a joyous festival. They also reaffirmed their hope that all communities in Kurdistan may continue to celebrate their religious and cultural traditions freely and in harmony each year.
