Princess Myan Khairy met with a delegation from the Media and Information Office of the Kurdistan Region, led by Mrs. Renas. During the meeting, they discussed the situation of the Yazidi women in general. Princess Myan emphasized the role of the media in countering and controlling hate speech, ensuring that all minorities can live in peace and security in the region.
She also stressed the importance of using the media to raise awareness and knowledge about the Yazidi religion and people, as well as explaining how to raise children with love and tolerance.
Princess Myan accompanied Mrs. Renas to the sacred Lalish Temple, where she provided an explanation about the Yazidi religion, customs, and traditions.
