Today, July 10, 2025, the names of 22 Ezidi martyrs, victims of the Yazidi genocide, were announced. Among them, 12 were from the village of Kocho, while the others came from various areas of the Sinjar district.
Their remains are scheduled to be transferred from the city of Mosul to Sinjar on August 12.
A funeral ceremony, according to Ezidi religious rituals, will be held the following day, August 13, at the Genocide Memorial in the Solagh area.
