On Thursday, October 16, 2025, a delegation of Russian Ezidis visited the Lalish Cultural and Social Center, where they were welcomed by Mr. Saeed Jardo, President of the Center, Dr. Saeed Khadida, Vice President, and other board members.
The delegation, which included academics, politicians, and businessmen—accompanied by Mr. Karim Suleiman, Deputy Minister of Agriculture in the Kurdistan Regional Government—was briefed on the center’s activities and its role in advocating for Ezidi issues in both the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
The President of the Center also gave a detailed overview of the Ezidi community’s situation and highlighted the support provided by the Kurdistan Regional Government.
The delegation also visited the Media Department of the Lalish Center, including Sema TV, where they were received by the channel’s staff.
