In collaboration with the Lalish Center, Ezidi businessman Dalman Hakim Nmer provided financial assistance to those affected by the floods in Chamchamal and to Ezidi families in need on the occasion of Êzî Fast.
Dalgash Salim, head of the Lalish Center in Shariya, stated in a press release: “In cooperation with Ezidi businessman Dalman Hakim Nmer, today we provided 10 million Iraqi dinars to those affected by the floods in Chamchamal, and allocated 30 million dinars to support Ezidi families in need on the occasion of the fasting festival.”
He added, “The Lalish Center has always been at the forefront of providing aid to those affected by natural disasters.”
It is worth noting that on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, heavy rains in various areas of the Kurdistan Region, especially near the Sulaimaniyah governorate borders, caused significant damage to citizens’ homes, and affected several people in the Kermiyan and Chamchamal areas.
