A source from the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) stated that a change has been made in the leadership of the party’s bloc within the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
According to the source, Shakhawan Abdullah has been appointed as the new head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s parliamentary bloc, succeeding Farhad Atroshi, the former head of the bloc.
The decision comes as part of the party’s internal changes and efforts to reorganize the work of its parliamentary bloc in Baghdad.
