Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil has launched an initiative to address the housing crisis by allocating 15% of the residential units in Al-Ghazlani City to various segments of society, noting that more than 50% of this allocation will be distributed to the families of martyrs from across the governorate.

This was announced during his field visit to Al-Ghazlani Residential City, attended by a number of members of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, the Head and members of the Provincial Council, the Director General of the Directorate of Survivors, as well as several directors of relevant departments.

Al-Dakhil also stated that the second batch of residential land plots for survivors will be distributed soon in Sinjar District. In addition, official approvals have been obtained for the demolished residential complex in the same district to be offered as an investment opportunity, with 15% of the project to be allocated as housing apartments for survivors.
