On January 7, 2026, Mr. Zaza Kalashov, Head of the Ronahi Association in Georgia, accompanied by Sheikh Omer Goloyan, visited His Holiness Baba Sheikh, along with Sheikh Ali Sheikh Elias, at his residence in the Sheikha Complex.
During the meeting, a number of issues concerning the situation of the Ezidi community in Georgia were discussed. Emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening communication and coordination to serve members of the Ezidi faith and to support their religious, social, and cultural activities.
The visiting delegation also expressed their appreciation for the role of His Holiness Baba Sheikh in caring for Ezidis both at home and in the diaspora, praising his efforts to unify the community and preserve the religious and social identity of the Ezidi people.
