The Barzani Charity Foundation announced on Saturday that it has delivered its first humanitarian aid convoy to the city of Aleppo, as part of its relief efforts to support residents of western Kurdistan.
The Foundation stated that the convoy arrived on January 31, 2026, and its assistance was distributed to 600 displaced families in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of families affected by difficult humanitarian conditions.
The aid included blankets and mattresses, food baskets, cleaning supplies, as well as milk and diapers for children, contributing to meeting the basic needs of the beneficiary families.
The Barzani Charity Foundation affirmed that this convoy is part of an ongoing series of humanitarian assistance initiatives, underscoring its commitment to supporting displaced families and providing their essential needs in affected areas.
