Today, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, received a delegation from the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Religious Freedom, led by Mr. Jim Shannon.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence in the region, highlighting ongoing efforts to protect religious and ethnic diversity.
The British delegation expressed high appreciation for the Kurdistan Region’s model of peaceful coexistence, emphasizing that the region represents a pioneering example in ensuring religious freedoms and respecting the rights of diverse communities in the Middle East.
