He wished him success in his spiritual and humanitarian mission, serving the Church and Chaldean faithful across the world.
His Holiness described the Patriarch as a respected religious figure with great experience and wisdom in church leadership, expressing confidence that his new role will continue his journey in promoting peace and love among all religions.
He also expressed hope that this election will strengthen peaceful coexistence, promote tolerance and acceptance of others, and reinforce unity and brotherhood among all components of Kurdistan and Iraq.
