As part of the activities of the third edition of the National University Debating Championship, with the participation of public and private universities across Iraq, the University of Nineveh took part in this event.
According to a statement by the university, the team consisted of three students, including Haila Ziad Kamal (from the College of Nursing and a resident of Sinjar). The university noted that she stood out remarkably, and the team achieved an advanced position in dialogue and debate.
This participation comes within the university’s efforts to enhance students’ dialogue and critical thinking skills, and to support scientific and cultural activities that contribute to preparing students capable of representing Iraq in international forums, ultimately aiming to participate in the Qatar Debate Center.
The University of Nineveh affirmed its continued support for student talents and active participation in various national activities that contribute to building students’ personalities and refining their academic and cultural skills.
