On the occasion of the Summer Forty-Day Fast Feast, observed on Saturday, July 25, 2026, His Holiness Baba Sheikh Ali Sheikh Ilyas extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Ezidi Faqir class around the world, as well as to all Ezidi religious leaders and those who observed the Forty-Day Fast (Çile Ger). He prayed that the Almighty accept their devotion, worship, and acts of faith.
His Holiness also prayed that this blessed occasion returns with goodness, peace, and abundant blessings, granting everyone security, stability, good health, and well-being. He further expressed his hope that the feast would strengthen the spirit of love and brotherhood among the Ezidi community and serve as an opportunity to reaffirm commitment to the authentic religious values and enduring traditions of the ancient Ezidi faith, preserving its customs and sacred principles for generations to come.
