In recognition of his significant contributions to fostering relations between Russia and the Middle East, Sergey Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, awarded the Medal of Honor to Zelikhan Mutsoev, a member of the Russian Duma (parliament).
On the 7th of this month, Russian President Vladimir Putin honored Zelikhan Mutsoev, a Kurdish member of the Russian State Duma, for his dedicated parliamentary and legislative work, as well as his extensive service in charity. Zelikhan Mutsoev, a Yazidi Kurd from Russia, was born on October 13, 1959, in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
