His Highness Prince Hazim Tahsin Saeed (Prince of the Yazidis in Iraq and the world and President of the Supreme Yazidi Spiritual Council) received Mr. Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil (Governor of Nineveh) today, Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Emirate Palace in Sheikhan.
After welcoming the Governor of Nineveh and his accompanying delegation, His Highness emphasized the importance of continued communication between the Yazidi community and the local government to find suitable solutions to problems and to strive to resolve all matters.
He pointed out the necessity for the local government to make greater efforts and provide the best services to the Nineveh Plains areas. He stated that Sinjar is in dire need of all efforts, and the local government in Nineveh must exert its utmost efforts to provide services to the affected areas to restore services, stability, and the return of the displaced.
Mr. Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil extended his congratulations and blessings to His Highness the Prince and, through him, to the Yazidis in general on the occasion of the holy Ezi Festival. He confirmed that the governorate is working tirelessly to provide the best services to the citizens and that he personally is working to create a safe and stable environment in Sinjar to restore security, stability, and services to those areas.
