Sema
The Lalish Cultural and Social Center, established in 1993 with the backing of the Kurdistan Regional Government, has been dedicated to serving the Yazidi community across various domains. Recently, the center launched the Sema satellite channel, focused on Yazidi-related content, and is currently working on creating a Yazidi music choir. This initiative aims to promote Yazidi songs, music, and art, ensuring their cultural voice reaches a global audience.
Karwan Haji Ba’adri, the center’s media officer, expressed deep gratitude for the Kurdistan Regional Government’s support in fulfilling their requests. He highlighted that the center’s media efforts have consistently promoted social harmony and coexistence, with Muslim colleagues also contributing to their work. The Lalish Center remains committed to preserving and sharing Yazidi culture while fostering unity and collaboration.
