On Wednesday, in the second leg of the Arabian Gulf Club Cup semi-final, Duhok hosted Saudi al-Ettifaq FC.
Before the referee blew the final whistle for a goalless draw, Duhok Sports Club broke the deadlock in the 90th minute, scoring the winning goal. With this victory, Duhok won the first leg and secured a draw in the return match, allowing them to reach the final.
The Gulf Champions League final will be played on August 8 at the Mohamed Hammadi International Stadium in Kuwait. The second leg is scheduled for August 15 at Duhok Stadium.
