On the occasion of the arrival of the Yazidi New Year (Çarşemboya Nîsanê), which falls on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, His Holiness Baba Sheikh, Sheikh Ali Sheikh Elias, extends his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Faqir members of the Yazidi community in Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the world.
He prays to Almighty God to bring this occasion again to everyone, wherever they may be, with goodness, blessings, and prosperity, and to grant our homeland peace, security, stability, and progress. His Holiness also expressed his hope that this holiday will serve as a new milestone in the journey of preserving the traditions and foundations of our authentic Yazidi faith, and as a source of inspiration to continue adhering to its noble values as they have been and will remain.
