Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with U.S. Senators Angus King and James Lankford in Washington on Tuesday, as part of his official visit to the United States, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) announced.

The meeting also focused on recent energy agreements signed in Washington. The senators emphasized the significance of these deals in driving economic growth and stability, not only for the Kurdistan Region but for all of Iraq.
