Lalish Cultural and Social Center Strongly Condemns Irresponsible Behavior Toward Prince Hazim Tahseen Beg
The Lalish Cultural and Social Center issued a statement today, Tuesday, August 5, 2025, strongly condemning the inappropriate and irresponsible behavior shown by an individual toward Prince Hazim Tahseen Beg.
Statement to the Public:
“At a time when the Ezidi community is going through a painful period — the 11th anniversary of the genocide committed against us — the eyes of Ezidis at home and in the diaspora are turned toward unity, solidarity, and a unified stance.
Unfortunately, it is regrettable that a small number of our youth in the diaspora are carrying out what our enemies hope to achieve — whether intentionally or unintentionally — by fueling division and tension, which only deepen our wounds.
The disgraceful behavior of a young man from the Ezidis of Russia toward His Highness, the Prince of the Ezidis in Iraq and the world, during his presence in Germany, falls within this harmful pattern. We categorically reject and strongly condemn this act in the harshest terms.
We call upon our conscious and aware youth — the vast majority — to promote a spirit of love, unity, and solidarity among all members of the Ezidi community, wherever they may be. We also urge the spread of a culture of tolerance and coexistence between Ezidis and people of other faiths, in service of the greater good.
And God is the source of all guidance.”
