Following recent events, hate speech has once again resurfaced in an unacceptable manner against the Ezidi community.
In light of this, the Lalish Cultural and Social Center, together with the General Directorate of Ezidi Affairs, held an extraordinary meeting today, Wednesday, September 10, 2025, where the issue was discussed from various perspectives.
After deliberations, it was decided to draft a protest memorandum outlining the outcomes and conclusions of the meeting and submit it to the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Council of Ministers. In addition, a joint committee from both sides will be formed to follow up on the implementation of the points included in the memorandum.
