Prince Hazem Tahsin Saeed, Emir of the Ezidis in Iraq and the world and Head of the Ezidi Supreme Spiritual Council, extends his warmest congratulations and best wishes to all political forces that secured seats in the sixth session of the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
He offers special heartfelt congratulations to President Masoud Barzani and the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) for receiving one million votes in this election.
The Prince also conveys his sincere congratulations to the Yazidi candidates who won seats in the new parliament.
His Highness emphasized the importance of strengthening democracy within the political process and underscored that dialogue must remain the guiding principle for resolving issues and overcoming challenges.
He further stressed the need to convene the first session of the sixth parliamentary term without delay, as well as the urgent formation of the new government to ensure public services and improve citizens’ quality of life.
The Prince also highlighted the importance of giving Sinjar and other Yazidi areas the attention they deserve from the new parliament and the incoming Iraqi government—particularly in terms of services, security, stability, and ensuring a dignified life for the people of Sinjar.
