Dr. Afrasiab Mousa, Director General of Duhok Health, announced the procurement of 17 essential types of medicines for hospitals and health centers across the province, in coordination with Iraqi Parliament members, Ms. Koyi Miro and Ms. Bruin.
The announcement followed the successful approval by the Federal Ministry of Health, secured by the two MPs, to provide these medicines. The Health Directorate will begin distributing them immediately to ensure the best possible healthcare services for the province’s residents, as well as displaced persons and refugees living there.
The Directorate expressed its hope for continued parliamentary support to sustainably improve the healthcare situation in Duhok.
