Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, received a phone call today, Wednesday (March 4, 2026), from Hakan Fidan, Turkey’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
According to a statement issued by the Kurdistan Regional Government, the call addressed the overall situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, in addition to the latest developments and the repercussions of the conflicts and tensions unfolding in the region.
The conversation also included a mutual emphasis on the importance of safeguarding regional peace, security, and stability, the statement added.
