Masoud Barzani offered condolences on Tuesday to the families of the two martyrs killed in the village of Zarkazawi in Erbil, stating that targeting the people of Kurdistan without justification is the result of blind hatred and represents the height of criminality.
In his message, Barzani said that the repeated unlawful aggression against the Kurdistan Region last night led to the martyrdom of two innocent civilians due to a drone attack, describing the incident as the peak of injustice and criminality, as unarmed citizens are targeted without any justification out of blind hatred.
He expressed deep sorrow over the loss, extending his condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and prayed that God grants them mercy and admits them into paradise.
Barzani stressed that targeting civilians in the Kurdistan Region and causing their deaths carries no trace of honor, dignity, or achievement. He affirmed that the will of the people of Kurdistan will always remain stronger than all attacks and drones, and will never be broken, emphasizing that the people rely on God and the justice of their cause.
