In a statement issued amid the ongoing salary dispute with the federal government in Baghdad, the Prime Minister emphasized that the rights of the people of Kurdistan are non-negotiable. “We will not give up our constitutional rights,” said Prime Minister Barzani. “Our position remains firm in defending the legal and financial entitlements of our citizens.”
He also expressed his deep appreciation for the resilience and patience demonstrated by public sector employees and the people of Kurdistan during this challenging period. “I extend my sincere gratitude to all employees and the people of Kurdistan for their steadfast patience. Your strength is a source of pride and inspiration,” he added.
