Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani headed to Baghdad on Saturday morning, May 23, 2026, leading a high-level government delegation.
During the visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold a series of meetings and discussions with the Iraqi Prime Minister, the Speaker of Parliament, the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, as well as a number of senior officials, political leaders, and heads of political parties.
The talks will address the latest developments on the Iraqi and regional arenas, in addition to discussing solutions to disputed issues and outstanding matters between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government in accordance with the Constitution, in a way that guarantees the rights of all components of the country.
