His Highness Prince Hazim Tahsin Beg, the Prince of the Ezidis in Iraq and worldwide, held a diplomatic meeting with Turkish Vice Consul Kubilay Kadir Kapucu to discuss key challenges and issues facing members of the Ezidi community in villages and cities across Turkey.
The meeting focused extensively on the land issue of the village of “Bajni” in Mardin Province, which is considered one of the most significant unresolved property cases affecting local residents and requiring urgent action to ensure justice for rightful owners.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to establish clear and practical mechanisms aimed at resolving these fundamental issues. They also agreed to submit the necessary recommendations and proposals to the relevant official authorities in the Turkish capital, Ankara, for further follow-up and the adoption of fair and final solutions.
