On Monday, May 12, 2025, Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, extended his warm congratulations to the Yazidis on the 32nd anniversary of the founding of the Lalish Cultural Center. He expressed his hope that the Center will continue producing valuable contributions to Kurdish culture.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Yazidi sisters and brothers on the 32nd anniversary of the founding of the Lalish Cultural Center. I deeply value the work, services, and achievements of the Center, and I thank the management and all its staff, wishing them continued success.
On this occasion, I reaffirm my full support for the activities and efforts of the Lalish Center. I will continue to support it, as I always have, so that it remains a pure source flowing into the river of Kurdish culture and serves Kurdish and especially Yazidi culture even better.
I also take this opportunity to assure my Yazidi sisters and brothers, and all components of Kurdistan from various religions and ethnicities, that I will always remain a supporter and defender of their rights. Kurdistan will always be a homeland for all of us—a land of diversity, mutual acceptance, and peaceful coexistence.
