In a statement issued Tuesday by the Barzani Headquarters, President Masoud Barzani expressed deep appreciation to the Kurdish people for their steadfastness under ongoing financial and political pressure.
“You have shown remarkable loyalty and resilience — I am proud of you,” President Barzani said.
His remarks come as the Iraqi government continues to withhold the Kurdistan Region’s salaries and financial dues for over 80 days — a move that stands in clear violation of the Iraqi constitution and rulings issued by the Federal Supreme Court.
