Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani confirmed today, Wednesday, July 9, 2025, that “thanks to the Ronaqi (Lighting) Project, two million citizens in the Kurdistan Region now enjoy uninterrupted electricity around the clock.”
He added in a post on the X platform: “By the end of 2026, the project will cover all homes and commercial shops across the entire Kurdistan Region.”
