A New Group of Martyrs from the Ezidi Genocide
The remains of 22 martyrs will be received in an official funeral procession that will depart from the Department of Forensic Medicine in Nineveh Province to the Ezidi Genocide Memorial in the center of Sinjar district, on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
Please note that the remains will be transported by official government ambulances. We call on all families and relatives of the martyrs, as well as the honorable people of Sinjar, to attend at the memorial to receive the martyrs — in loyalty to their sacrifices and in honor of their pure souls.
The official and religious ceremonies will be held on the morning of Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the memorial. After that, the remains will be transferred to the Ezidi religious shrines in their respective regions, where they will be laid to rest in their final resting places.
