His Highness Prince Hazim Tahseen Saeed, Prince of the Ezidis in Iraq and the World and President of the Ezidi Supreme Spiritual Council, extends his warmest congratulations and best wishes to all Ezidis in Iraq and around the world on the occasion of the blessed Jama Festival.
He expressed his hope that Almighty God will safely return all abducted women and men to their families, that displaced Ezidis will return to their areas in Shingal with dignity and honor, and that security, peace, and stability will prevail in our communities and throughout the country.
On the occasion of this blessed festival, the Council issued a set of important instructions and guidelines for visitors to Lalish Temple, aimed at ensuring the best possible services and maintaining the sanctity of the temple and the religious ceremonies:
First: Visitors are requested to preserve the sanctity of the temple and its religious rituals by wearing traditional Ezidi clothing or appropriate attire, out of respect for the sacred Lalish Temple and the Jama Festival.
Second: Bringing loudspeakers that disturb the tranquility of the site or cause inconvenience inside the temple is prohibited.
Third: Bringing alcoholic beverages of any kind into the temple is prohibited. The use of hookahs (shisha) and gambling, as well as similar activities, are strictly prohibited within the temple.
Fourth: Visitors are requested to maintain discipline, calm, and order, particularly during religious rituals, to ensure that the ceremonies proceed smoothly and respectfully.
Fifth: Visitors are urged to cooperate with all security personnel stationed at the temple, as well as the medical and health teams working around the clock to ensure their safety, health, and comfort.
Sixth: Visitors are requested to help maintain the cleanliness of the temple by disposing of waste in designated areas and cooperating with the Khilmetkar teams who will be responsible for cleaning throughout the festival days.
